I work out three times per week – one session with Craig, two on my own – although each session is in accordance with a programme designed by Craig which is tailored to my particular goals. The sessions are challenging but varied with a clear focus on proper form both to maximise gains and minimise the risk of injury. I’ve benefited from his in-depth knowledge on nutrition, training technique and theory and now am seeing real gains in my performance in both running times, strength and stability and coordination . Since working with Craig, I’ve cut 6 mins from my 10k time, achieving by far a personal best in both 10 and 5k times. ‘After getting back on my feet properly after a car accident in June 2010 i wanted to get back where i was physically so I joined the Nuffield Health Centre in September, along without a real idea of how to go about it at all. Craig was helping me whenever he had a spare moment so I decided to start personal training sessions with him. In such a short time he’s brought me a long way, building up my core strength, stability and getting my body back to the way it was prior to the accident. An hour spent with Craig is more focused, effective and more beneficial than me just pottering around the gym for 3 hours not knowing where to start or what to do. Now that my body has properly healed Craig can really push me into getting back into the shape I used to be in, and taking it further. He’s given me more confidence and built up my stamina more than i thought was possible.
I see Craig once a week and this sets me up a new exercise program for the week and keeps it varied for me. This way I’ll never get fed up. The first session I had with Craig he gave me a 4 day food diary to take home and truthfully fill out which he takes back to read over. He is then in a position to give dietary/ nutritional advice as part of his program. Having Craig as a personal trainer is a great way to keep motivated as well, as he acts like a coach, constantly encouraging me and pushing me to do better. Ailsa Baird. NHS physiotherapist ‘Training with Craig has completely changed my whole outlook towards my gym sessions. Like most young women I train with the ultimate goal to become lean, fit and relatively strong. Having previously attended the gym almost daily completing up to 90mins of cardio, I was starting to become fed up of the endless effort and monotony of the sessions. Recurrent injuries from running were also becoming an issue and I knew strength and conditioning was something I needed to incorporate into my programme. This is when I approached Craig for help.
My current gym programme includes 4-5 sessions of weight training a week, each session lasting between 30mins to an hour. I am also following the diet that Craig constructed for me following a biosignature assessment. Each session is a progression from the previous one and carefully adapted to your training style/ability/needs, with careful attention given to posture and technique throughout training.
The main reason I would highly recommend Craig is not only his immense knowledge base of training and the human body in general, but his love for his job and determination to do the best for his clients. Most importantly for me however is his ability to adapt training in the presence of injury. I recently attended a session with a very painful side and not only did Craig manage to provide upper body exercises that I could manage pain free, that still met my training needs but he also went out of his way to try to find out what was actually wrong with me. As a physiotherapist I was very impressed!
Although I have done minimal cardio over the past few months, I feel like I am in the best shape I have ever been in. My strength/power and both anaerobic and aerobic fitness have improved vastly. Most importantly I have regained the spark and motivation for training that I was gradually losing.’

I’ve been training with Craig for a few years now twice a week. Although a tough trainer he always has his clients best interests at heart and this gives results. Specifically Craig started recording by Bio Signature regularly which not only indicates where my training should be concentrated on it also reveals so much more regarding my body composition and hormonal profile. With these regular Bio Signatures Craig tailors both my diet and supplements to maximise the results I get from my training. The results show. I have dropped from 20% + bodyfat to 8.5% and as a result not only do I have the physique I have dreamed of at nearly 40 years of age I have finally revealed my hard earned abs!
